Pedigree Planner has been used in New Zealand for over 12 years. Users of this program come from all sections of the racing industry and have a wide range of knowledge of pedigrees and computers.

Support for the program and database is available from experienced pedigree analysts and programmers.

 This software has been developed by:

 Anne Meredith.  Anne is a keen pedigree analyst who is a past president of the Levin Thoroughbred Breeders’ Forum and is currently president of the NZ Thoroughbred Pedigree Research Association. Anne is a software analyst and wrote the original Pedigree Planner program in the late 1980s for her own use in pedigree analysis and research.

 Gerald Waters.  Gerald is an experienced software analyst who rewrote the Pedigree Planner to further extend its capabilities under Windows and has recently produced Version 3, another major upgrade.

 Peter Jenkins:  Peter created the Messenger Mate database. He is a well known New Zealand bloodstock consultant with interests in both standardbreds and thoroughbreds. He is also a past president of the Levin Thoroughbred Breeders’ Forum.

Susan Larkin: Susan created the database for Quarterbase. She is a quarter horse and thoroughbred pedigree enthusiast and researcher who also has a bookselling business specialising in horse books. See our links page for her website address.
